Dear Colleague
Welcome to the ENERCA Core Laboratory Tests Questionnaire website.
The European Network for Rare and Congenital Anaemias (ENERCA) was established in 2002 to promote the understanding of Rare Anaemias throughout Europe and to improve public health services to professional medical practitioners and patients. This important project is now in its 3rd phase and is supported by funds from the European Union. More information about ENERCA can be found from the website www.enerca.org where you are also able to register your interest in the ENERCA project.
This Questionnaire has been developed to gather information on the range of laboratory tests used in the diagnosis of Rare Anaemias in Europe, their clinical utility and quality management. If you offer diagnostic testing for disorders of haemoglobin, red cell enzymes and/or the red cell membrane, we would be grateful if you would work through section(s) of the questionnaire relevant to your area of interest. This information will be used anonymously to provide a comprehensive list of tests and the external quality assessment services available; a report of the analysis of the questionnaire will be published.
To access the questionnaire, you will first need to register your details. This will allow you to complete the questionnaire at your convenience as you will be able to save each section before final submission. The questionnaire website will remain open until January 20 2012.
If you have any queries about the questionnaire, please address these in the first instance to Barbara De la Salle. Any technical problems with access to the site should be sent directly to the webmaster Webmaster.
The ENERCA Executive Committee would like to thank you in advance for your time and your interest in this questionnaire.
